India is the seventh-largest country of the world by area and the second-most populous country of the world. It is situated in South Asia. The culture of this country is so rich that many of its aspects are easily recognized and well known in world. Indian culture is one of the oldest cultures of all time. I am giving a look at the traditions and customs in India that make this country so unique than others.

Traditions are nourished in India. It is said that traditions are passed from one generation to next generation. Due to respect for the traditions for many centuries, India managed to keep its unity, originality and identity. Indian family manners are very rich from all the countries of world. Citizens are very respectful of family values and the number of divorces is very low than in other countries. They also respect elders and youngers in the family. Indians respects their teachers like God.

Indian food is recognized worldwide. There is no doubt that the unique combination of ingredients, herbs and spices makes this food so famous. Besides it, Indians have quite special rules in dining. Generally, food is served according to hierarchy. First of all, the women serve food to men and children, however, if there is a guest, so he is a priority. As for women, they may eat after everyone has been served food. India is popular for many things, but its traditional dresses are so popular that they are recognized worldwide. Indian saris are recognizable all over the world. Men clothes are as spectacular looking as women’s. Besides clothes if we talk about Indian jewelry, it is so excellent that when you see it, you will not able to try it on yourself straight away.



When two and more people are In conversation, Children are advisable to stand quite away from people. This is a sign of respect for their personal space. Indians are taught by their elders not to touch another person, especially with their shoes or bare feet. India is unity in diversity. India is often allied with the word “diversity”. There is no doubt that many languages are spoken, many religions are professed, and people of many races are welcomed to live freely in India.
