A school is a place where every student goes to learn academic knowledge. It is a training ground for every student. It is here that he makes himself for the stage of life. So the right educational school is of great importance to him.
My name is Krishan. I want to share experience of May first day in the school. My memories of the first day at school are still fresh. Never again have I experienced such a mixture of strange feelings. My parents had taken me to the temple before the first day of my school. My bag was packed with great care. I was to go to school for the first time in my life. I got admission in a school at the age of five. It was a primary school in my village. It was a small school with five rooms. There were five teachers comprising the physical instructor. The office of the headmaster was separate. There was a big ground to play the students.

My mother took me to the headmaster’s office and got me admitted to the school. He gave me a packet of toffees to be distributed among my classmates. I hated the thought of being away from home for so many hours. Tears rolled down my cheeks when my mother left me in the class with stranger boys but I soon began to feel better. My class teacher encouraged me and behaved kindly. I was nervous in the new environment. My classmates were looking at me with wonder.
My class teacher taught me English alphabets and Hindi teacher taught me Hindi vowels and consonants. My class teacher was a kind lady who made all of us feel comfortable. Soon I realized that school was fun as Mrs. Gupta taught us some songs and told us a few stories. When the bell rang for an interval. The boys rushed out of the classrooms. Some of them started taking their lunch and some of them gathered rounded me. They were laughing at me and making fun of me. But some of them sympathized with me and befriended me. Some of my classmates began to share their lunch with me. We became the best of friends and soon.

The last bell rang at three in the afternoon. All the boys became very happy and left the classroom crying and making fun. I also took my bag and hurried back to my home.
