My Aim In Life Essay

There is none in this world who has no aim in his life. Everybody has some aims in life. It is very important. A life without an aim is like a boat without a rudder.

My name is Pradeep. I am not a very ambitious boy. I do not want to be a multi-millionaire. The profession of teaching has been very attractive to me. This has been my childhood dream. The only aim of my life is to serve the society to become a good citizen. It appears to me that teaching is the best way profession for me to serve society.



My family belongs to the lower middle class of society. Certainly, I have to face any kind of difficulties in my life. The difficulties faced during the journey of my life made me learn that lack of education is the biggest problem of the society. So I want to devote my life to spread literacy to every nook and corner of society so as to remove the darkness of illiteracy. If we talk about the literacy of India, It is a shame that one-fifth of our population still does not know how to read and write while It has been passed six decades of independence. About the condition of women's education, the picture is all the more sorrowful. Unless we are educated our country can not progress.

I am very careful about the needs of the weaker section of society. I would work hard to bring change in their lives. When this section of society gets an education, we will have a totally different society. I will always be ready to attend their queries whatever arises. I will systematize extra classes for those who unable to keep pace with the regular class.



I know that I will have to face lots of difficulties. A teacher’s life is full of challenges. He does not command the respect he deserves. I will not be scared of the earnings. I will try my best to make the students better citizens. I will take care of their personality and shape their characters. I will teach them good moral values. So that our India can go on the path of progress and prosperity like other countries in which everyone has a dignified life full of equality of opportunities. Our former president and great educationist Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, says, “Teachers are the custodians of the highest values.”
