Directorate of Health Service West Bengal invites application for the posts of Staff nurse Gr - II in Health institution of the Govt. of west bengal from GNM passed candidates. Eligible candidates can apply through prescribed application form on or before 28/09/2012. Other details of this vacancy are

Total Number of  Posts : 1652 (SC- 300, ST- 506, OBC A-227, OBC B- 91 and General- 528)

Age Limit :
Candidates must have between 18 to 35 years as on 01-1-2012 for General category candidates
5 years upper age relaxation for SC/ST Candidates
3 years relaxation in upper age for OBC Candidates

Pay Scale:
PB-3, 7100-Rs. 37600 minimum pays of 7680 +3600 Grade Pay

Education qualifications :
To apply for Directorate of Health Services West Bengal Staff Nurse Recruitment 2012 candidate must have passed General Nursing & Midwifery (Staff Nurse) - G.N.M. course from recognized Nursing Training Schools and should be a registered member of WB Nursing Council. He/she should be able to read and write in Bengali or in Nepali language.

Documents to be submitted along the application :
a. Birth Certificate
b. Mark sheet of Higher Secondary Examination
c. All the mark sheets of GNM exxamination
d. one passport size photograph to be affixed on the application form with the signature of the candidate on it. e.Voters ID card or equivalent documents as residential proof.
f. Registration certificate of West Bengal Nursing Council.

Selection Process:
Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the percentage of marks of the candidate in HS Exam.(50% weightage) and percentage of marks in the GNM Examination (50% weightage).
