Educational Qualifications—
For ASI (RM)—Matric with Diploma in Radio and TV Technology or Electronics or Telecommunication or Computer or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Domestic Appliances from any Institution recognised by the State Govt. or Central Govt. Or 10 + 2 Intermediate or equivalent with aggregate marks of fifty per cent with selective subject being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised Board or Institution. For
HC (RO)—Matriculation or equivalent plus two years ITI certificate in Radio and TV or Electronics or Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised board or Institution.
Age Limit (as on July 27, 2012)—18-23 years. [For HC (RO)],
18-25 years [For ASI (RM)]
Selection Procedure—The selection will be made in two phases. In the first phase there will be a written examination of three hours. The written will consist of Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, English and General Knowledge. The second phase will consist of Physical Efficiency Test, Dictation Test, Interview etc.
